Call to Artists and Buyers for a Holiday Open House to Benefit Cross Roads House in Portsmouth

Here is an opportunity to create or purchase art and simultaneously become aware of issues surrounding  homelessness and the many who struggle with the ability to call some place "home".  "NO PLACE LIKE HOME" is an open house/studio event that benefits Cross Roads House, a shelter that provides emergency  and transitional shelter services in Portsmouth, NH.  This unique organization deserves recognition and celebration for offering the greater Seacoast alternatives and tools in procuring permanent housing.  So take some time during this busy holiday season to join others on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 3-9pm. Spend a spirited afternoon/evening viewing and buying art while sharing a cup and plate of good cheer.   A minimum of 10% of all proceeds will directly benefit programs at Cross Roads House.   All interested artists and community members are welcome to submit pieces  for exhibition and selling.
